Replacing Failing Wood-Frame Windows in Englewood

This older home in Englewood, just south of Denver, still had its original wood-frame windows. Years of Colorado sun and weather had taken their toll. The frames were breaking down, and the windows no longer sealed or operated the way they should.

Aloha removed the old wood frames and the surrounding trim, then installed new Simonton 5500 Reflections vinyl windows throughout the home, including double-hung units in the bedrooms and bathroom.

To finish the exterior, the team coil-wrapped each opening in aluminum. Coil wrap covers the exposed wood so there is nothing left to peel, rot, or repaint, and it gives every window a crisp, uniform edge against the siding.
